Day 1 Kathmandu to Shyabru Besi 1503m/4945Ft 8-9 hrs drive
Taking local bus early in the morning or a private four wheel drive journey from Kathmandu reaches Shyabru Besi, gateway to the Langtang Valley at the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and Langtang Rivers. Mesmerizing scenic driving and passing through Trisuli Bazaar, Ramche Gaon and Dhunche Bazaar makes you scenic driving. Narrow and bit adventurous zig zags road but amazing landscape along the way driving will make you good start day drive of the trek.

Gatlang VillageDay 2 Shyabru Besi to Chawatar (lunch) to Gatlang 2337m/7690Ft. 5- 6 hrs hike
A dirt track zig-zags to the west up to Bahun Danda Pass and then down to the Tamang settlement of Gatlang, a cornerstone village on the Tamang Heritage Trail or hike to Gatlang by way of Chawatar. Gatlang is a Tamang village with unique customs and craftsmanship in a magnificent setting. Above lies Parvati Kund, popular during Janai Purnima when thousands of pilgrims are attracted to the sacred pond and nearby temple.

Day 3 Gatlang to Parvati Kund ,Yuri Kharka (lunch)- Somdang 3271m/10760Ft. 6 - 7 hrs
The trail ascends through pine and rhododendron forest to a lunch point of Yuri Kharka before continuing to Khurpu Bhanjyang and then dropping down to the Somdang River, border between Rasuwa and Dhading districts.
A sprawling mining compound, no longer functioning but it seems locals appealing government to revive it, lies a few hours to the north upriver. The hike passes through a scenic valley featuring the 200 m Chukarma Waterfall. The former mine leaves a lot be explored and is the site of a 1.4 km tunnel bored into the mountain to extract zinc, copper, tin, crystal and even highly-prized rubies.

Day 4 Somdang - Pangsang Pass (3842 m) - Tipling 2078m/6835Ft. 6-7 hrs
Pangsang Kharka is a viewpoint southwest of Somdang village with a broad panorama of the surrounding terrain. To the north are the soaring peaks of Manaslu and the Ganesh Himal Range. The large meadow is graced with a giant entry gateway and is a sensational location for camping and taking in the breathtaking scenery. The whole Ganesh Himal region is blessed with abundant herbal plants. Previously, herbs were taken to Tibet along an ancient trade route and exchanged for salt, livestock, wool and turquoise.
Descend to Tipling, a large village that hosts two Buddhist gombas and both a Protestant and Catholic church. Along a ridge top to the east is a gomba and cremation ground for both Buddhists and Christians lined with colorful flags. Being a majority of Tamang people it has beautiful Tamang culture show. Tamang people have own rich culture to show for the visitors jhankri or shaman dance, ghode or horse dance, said to have been brought from Tibetan culture long ago. Jhankri (shaman) activity is robust in this territory with the worship of natural forces and indigenous local deities interwoven with Hindu and Buddhist practices. Mane dance, Mendo Maya, Paru dance and Ghode (horse) dance as well as Lama (monk) dance are quite popular.

Day 5 Tipling – Aoi ((lunch) to Borang Gaun 1700 m/5610Ft. 5 hrs
After breakfast trek al the way down to Ada Khola khola taking about 35 minutes walk and then ascend uphill to Shertung village about an hour walking. Finally arrive at Shertung village which is inhabitant of Tamang people as well as Newar and Dalit. Trek continue to Kalga Danda from where you will see the magnificent Ganesh Himal ranges mountain views and Chalish village and surrounding landscape. Trek to Aoi little one village of Tamang community where have lunch and trek continue to Borang gaon. From Aoi to Borang is quite easy walking most of the way down hill passing through paddy terraces and suspension bridge.

Day 6 Borang Gaon – Chyamthali (lunch) – Kaule Thati 2350m 7755Ft 5 -6 hrs
Take breakfast and then trek all the way down to Ukhum from where you will find two ways to get trek ending point to Dhading Besi, one is lower part and another is upper part. We will lead you this trek upper part because upper part you will see many villages and even the better mountain views whereas in the lower part you will see only the river views but no mountain views at all. From Ukhum when you walk just a bit down you will enter in to Lishne jungle just turning left side upper part walk in the pine jungle forest about an hour and halt you will get finally Lishne Kohla or locally called Gashali. There is no tea houses or local villages at all in this jungle walk although its safe but trek with your guide or porter who knows the right track will be fine. Cross a beautiful suspension bridge and trek all the way up to Chhapchat village (30 minutes uphill walk) and then after walking 30 minutes arrive at Chyamthali village where you stop for lunch. After lunch start your trek and cross big landslide. In the monsoon it is bit dangerous landslide so without local guide you are not recommended to cross this landslide, your guide may know trail well however if he/she has not been in this landslide before we recommend to have local helper to show the right track and help to cross. It takes about an hour to cross. In the beginning and ending part quite fine but just mid part has bit dangerous. After crossing landslide trek continue and finally arrive at Kaule That village taking about 3 hours walking from lunch spot. Its another Tamang village but not bit in size.

Day 7 Kaule Thati to Kuri (lunch) to Khaniyabas (Satederi) 1785m/ 5891Ft 6 - 7 hrs
Take breakfast at the same place and trek all the way down hill to Dungre Khola about 1 ½ hours down hill walking. cross suspension bridge and uphill walking about 2 ½ hours to get to Kuri Village. This is also a Tamang village lies right on the top of the hill from where you will see the beautiful surrounding landscape. There is no village or tea shops in between camp point to Kuri village so some snacks or dry fruits will be very useful to carry with you. A bottle of boiled water will be very useful. From the river uphill walking will be in the thick jungle so local guide or experience trek guide is highly recommended. After lunch trek continued having mesmerizing surrounding landscape, Brichet village and finally arrive at Khaniyabas Village which is known from the its VDC Satya Devi. Its about 2 ½ hours walk from lunch spot and Satya Devi has several local lodge/tea shops for local and trekkers. In your camp site there is a beautiful temple named Shree Bachchhala Devi and by its name local has a school nearby where 10+2 students have opportunity to study. On the clear weather day you will have the best and breath taking sun set views. Ankhu river views and Todke hill in horizon gives you magnificent landscape. Tamang, Bhramin and Dalit people live in Khaniyabas. This is also the village from where if any one interested after 2 days walk to Trisuli Bazaar and 4 hours drive you will get back to Kqthmandu. On the way on the clear weather day Mt. Manaslu ranges. Langtang ranges and Ganesh Himal ranges will be viewed in panorama way.

Day 8 Khaniyabas – Archale (lunch) to Marpak 1704m/5605Ft 6 hrs
After breakfast trek all the way down to Maur Khola cross suspension bridge (1 ½ hours walking) and uphill trek about 2 ½ hours. Finally arrive Archale, take lunch and trek continue to Marpak in 3 hours walking. This is a beautiful mountain views point little bit of Annapurna ranges. Mt. Manaslu ranges and Ganesh Himal ranges too. Its surrounding sites view including Khaniyabas, Sat Dobato, Kimdang Phedi, Katunje, Rinne, Ankhu Khola and little bit of Salyantar.

Day 9 Marpak to Simpani (lunch) to Katunje 1380m/4540Ft. 5-6 hrs
Most of the day will pass through mix culture villages, paddy terraces and breath taking hill terrain views. After walking 5-6 hours finally get to Katunje village and over night at local tea shops. Katunje is Bhramin majority village and this is another mountain view point village from where you will enjoy the best sun rise and sun set view experience including breath taking mountain views of the Manaslu ranges.

Day 10 Katunje to Dhading Besi - Kathmandu 1360m/4475ft 2 ½ hrs walk and 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, walk a bit uphill track and trek down to Dhading Besi (2 ½ hours) the district head quarter of Dhading district, enjoy village city experience , take lunch and 3 hours Prithivi high way drive back to Kathmandu.
